Maintenance

Regrettably, any equipment may be susceptible to break down at some time during its working life. In recognition of this, Access Control Automation strongly recommends that all automated security systems be maintained on a regular basis to make sure that your system is secure and safe at all times. Regular maintenance will also save you money as prevention is always better than cure and expensive & unplanned ‘call-outs’ can be dramatically reduced.

All maintenance visits are scheduled at your convenience and, dependent on the equipment and the customer’s requirements, the maintenance contract is for either one or two visits per annum. The contract covers the cost of labour and minor service parts only. Major parts if required are charged separately as it would be unfair to include them in the contract price when they may never need replacing.

Our experienced and technically competent personnel check the performance and safety functions of the systems, re-adjusting and calibrating appropriately. Systems are also cleaned/lubricated as required

Please note that all products used are subject to warranty and will be replaced free of charge during the warranty period assuming proper use and the application of any user maintenance routines. For products that are no longer subject to warranty, Access Control Automation will advise the clients if any defects are found and how they may be economically & effectively corrected. Any replacement parts are charged at our then current list price.

On those occasions where an emergency call out is requested and the equipment is proven not to be faulty we reserve the right to charge our full service rates [inclusive of travel].

We are pleased to offer our maintenance service on equipment installed by other companies subject to review before maintenance cover commences.
